Alyssa Hughes Dr. Alyssa Hughes joined the Veremedy team in 2008 after graduating from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of central New Jersey but has spent time living in Maine and California. Her professional interests include surgery, emergency medicine, and dentistry. She lives with her husband, Chris, who is a student at Dartmouth Medical School, and their Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, Howard. When she's not spending time with her patients at Veremedy, she enjoys reading, running, cooking, yoga, rock climbing, and cross-country skiing. |

Angela Burrington Angela Burrington is the Medical Director for the Veremedy Pet Hospital. Angela grew up in New York City, but always planned to work with animals and live in the country. Her dreams came true after graduating from Cornell Veterinary School in 1989 and moving to the Upper Valley area. Before coming to Veremedy and specializing in the care of small animals, Angela worked for 8 years as a mixed-animal practitioner working with both large and small animals. Angela lives with her husband Brad and their two daughters. Angela and Brad also share their home with their adopted dog Holly, three cats, two rabbits and seven sheep. In her spare time, Angela enjoys yoga and cooking. Her professional interests include feline medicine and surgery, ophthalmology, and cancer treatment and care. Angela also enjoys working with rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and rodents. |

Anita Pratt Morris Anita Pratt Morris joined the veterinary professional staff at Veremedy in 2007. Anita grew up in Massachusetts and went on to New York City where she worked as an actress. Anita then attended the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated in 2000 with a degree in veterinary medicine. Anita went on to do a 1-year internship in veterinary medicine and surgery at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. She has been practicing in the area since 2002 and has interests in cardiology, internal medicine, and is currently working toward her certification with the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society. Anita currently resides in the Upper Valley with her husband and 2 children. Also residing with Anita's family: her dogs Wallace and Hula and 2 cats, Hobbit and Randall. Besides spending time with her family and practicing veterinary medicine, Anita enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, skiing and gardening. |

Brad Burrington Brad Burrington is the founder and CEO of Veremedy, LLC, the company that started the Veremedy Pet Hospital. After earning his DVM degree from Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, Brad became a well-respected large and small animal veterinarian in Upstate New York and New Hampshire, and later in Vermont. Dr. Burrington is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and he enjoys working in an intensive care setting. Brad lives with his wife and fellow veterinarian, Angela, as well as their two daughters and their many pets. Outside of Veremedy Brad enjoys landscaping, reading, political history, and an occasional round of golf. |

Ryann Signorelli Ryann Signorelli came to Veremedy in 2005 from Minnesota after graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. It did not take long for her knowledge, confidence, attention to detail, and manner with people and pets to impress our clients. She is extremely skilled at general practice, but her special interest and training in animal behavioral problems has been a great addition the services we offer pets. She lives in the Upper Valley with her husband Joe, an Orthopedic Resident at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and beautiful son, Trajen. They often enjoy discussing and comparing cases together. Ryann also shares her home with a Shetland Sheepdog named Thira and a Shiba Inu named Titus, who provides her lots of practice in managing behavior issues! In her off time, Ryann enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling. In addition to behavior consulting, Ryann also enjoys and excels in surgery, counseling new puppy owners, and seeing sick patients go home healthy to happy owners. |
