WHITE RIVER JUNCTION
"The funky old building with the cutting edge medicine."
The Veremedy Pet Hospital in White River Junction is located just off I-91 at exit 12. For years it was housed in a funky old building that was built by an eccentric in the 1940's. The odd exterior fooled many since it did not appear as if the inside was filled with high tech equipment and the best veterinary professional staff in the business. After remodeling nearly every room in the old building, we were still bursting at the seams, so 2010 became our year for a complete renovation and addition to the old building. Although the old building had many fascinating features, it simply could not accommodate all of the growth we were experiencing.
WOODSTOCK
The original Woodstock Veterinary Hospital, located on Route 12 going north towards Barnard, was established in 1942. Drs. Brad and Angela Burrington lived and practiced there from 1992 until they sold it in 2000. When they bought the practice back in 2008, they renamed it the Veremedy Pet Hospital and moved the location to the old Woodstock Insurance building on Route 4. That building has one exam room and only 1400 square feet on the first floor. Once again, just as with our White River Junction practice, the Woodstock practice is growing, so the Burringtons have decided to move the practice next door to the Gallery Place where, with 2300 square feet of space, they can have two exam rooms and a larger area for their supplies and equipment. Look for updates on this move in the Spring of 2010.
