2/08/10 - The "Funky Old Building" Disappears (read the press release)
We have a warm place in our heart for our old building, but we are very excited about our new building. The old building is in the process of a major face lift. We are wrapping a new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital around our old building. We appreciate everyone's patience during the construction period. Click on the press release for more information!

1/04/10 - CONSTRUCTION BEGINS!! (read the press release)
At long last the project to add 3200 square feet of new space, and to completely remodel our old space has begun at our White River Junction location. Click on the news link below and check out the drawing at the top of the news web page to see what the new building will look like.

9/15/09 - VEREMEDY RECEIVES PERMISSION TO EXPAND ITS HOSPITAL (read the press release)
We have been running out of space for some time as more and more people choose Veremedy Pet Hospital for their pet's medical needs. So, the time has come to add on to our facility.

10/01/08 - Dr. Alyssa Hughes Joins the Veremedy Team
Dr. Hughes is a graduate of Cornell University's veterinary school, and she is interested in all aspects of veterinary care, including surgery, internal medicine, oncology and emergency work. We are sure you will enjoy Dr. Hughes' approach to pet care.

8/25/08 - We're Moving!
We intend to start seeing patients at the new location at 444 Woodstock Rd on August 25, 2008. We will be closed at our Route 12 location from 8/20 until we re-open on 8/25 while we move all of our equipment and supplies. Any patients that need care while we are moving will be seen at our White River Junction location. See you soon on route 4!!

4/01/08 - Veremedy Acquires Woodstock Veterinary Hospital
Veremedy acquires the Woodstock Veterinary Hospital. Drs. Brad and Angela Burrington will be returning to the first practice they purchased back in 1992. Dr. Meredith Harrison put the practice on the market, so she could pursue other opportunities.

3/24/08 - Rumors of Veterinary Practice Sale Spread Through Woodstock
Rumors of veterinary practice sale spread through Woodstock. The pet owners in the Woodstock area were worried about the possible sale of the Woodstock Veterinary Hospital.

4/13/07 - Veremedy Launches Website!
Thomas Jefferson's birthday and Veremedy launches its website! After much work on the part of all of the staff, Tom McNeill of Image Quest Photography, and Luis Bango, the website developer from Casegama, the site was ready to hatch. There is still much work to be done. More information and helpful services will be added regularly, but for now, the site serves as a great introduction to Veremedy.

2/26/07 - Welcome Dr. Anita Pratt Morris!
Veremedy Pet Hospital announces the addition of Dr. Anita Pratt Morris to its staff of great veterinarians. Dr. Morris is a graduate of the veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, and she brings years of experience to our team. Along with her special interests in cardiology and internal medicine, Dr. Morris will also add advanced ultrasound skills to the many diagnostic tools we have available here at Veremedy. We are sure you and your pet will enjoy Dr. Morris' approach to providing excellent medical care and advice.

7/09/06 - Team Veremedy walks, runs and cycles in The Prouty
Team Veremedy walks, runs and cycles in The Prouty, Dartmouth's Norris Cotton Cancer Research Center's annual fundraiser. Every member of our great staff contributed in some way to make this event a success. We raised over $1800 dollars for cancer research. Knowing that we deal with cancer in pets, and that some pets we know have people with cancer, this cause seemed more than an appropriate target for our efforts.
